Hi Eric.
I know I told you this last night when we saw you perform with the Jeremy Pelt Quartet, but you amaze me more and more each time I see you perform. Our people really need to reconnect with the sprituality, beauty and intellectualism of jazz. We need to do something about that, don't we?

Luv,
Cuz Carla

Eric,
Hope to see you come to Boston sometime soon. Kiameshia never remembers to tell me when you are in town. The site looks great and I'll be able to check for myself here. Tell Nasif hello for me.

I had the privilege of seeing Eric play with a prodigious group of musicians surrounding the now-legendary Andrew Hill at Birdland in early March. Eric happens to be one of the most happening players I've seen in quite some time; he's truly got a deeply organic sensibility and approach to jazz percussion, and yet is completely combustible in the most measured and tasteful ways. If you haven't already, dig Eric's playing; I know I'll be keeping an eye on what he's up to!

Eric-

I used to bump into you at various sessions way back at Augie's. Looking forward to what you have in store.
