E-mail: brjulian@aol.com		 I had the privilege of seeing Eric play with a prodigious group of musicians surrounding the now-legendary Andrew Hill at Birdland in early March. Eric happens to be one of the most happening players I've seen in quite some time; he's truly got a deeply organic sensibility and approach to jazz percussion, and yet is completely combustible in the most measured and tasteful ways. If you haven't already, dig Eric's playing; I know I'll be keeping an eye on what he's up to!
